Domino's Pizza Malaysia Delivery @ Sunway Mentari Branch

Michael usually will come over my place to have dinner first before our badminton session. On one of the occasion during the World Cup month, he was craving for the Domino's Pizza and asked whether was I alright with it.

I nodded yes since he told me that he has some discount vouchers. At first I thought he has some free pizza vouchers but in the end it was actually those promotion voucher..haha. Well, who doesn't want an extra free pizza.
Domino's Pizza, Call 1-300-888-333 for delivery

Since my parents will be joining us for the pizza feast, we ordered the Incredible Meal 3 which is part of the promotion during the World Cup. It consisted of 3 regular pizzas, a pack of Garlic Cheese Onion Rings and a choice of BBQ Chickstix or Chicken Wings.
Aloha Chicken
Consisted mainly of shredded chicken and pineapple. However, I have a hard time tasting any chicken meat and the pineapple servings were rather stingy. Whilst the taste was alright and decently cheesed, I'd however still prefer the Hawaiian Supreme topping from Pizza Hut.

Seafood Delight
Consisted mainly of crab meat, tuna chunks, onions and green peppers. I told myself I would not order this flavour anymore. It was rather tasteless and bland. How delightful can that be when the cheese could not even make the pizza any better?

More than a year ago, Domino's Pizza came up with the new Top Secret Sauce topping that promised an aromatic blend of creamy, cheesy flavors with an unmistakable garlic zest.
Classified Chicken
Consisted of shredded chicken, mushrooms and onions. Still as good, remind me so much of the time when I first ate it when I was working late in my ex audit firm. Creamy, aromatic, cheesy and flavourful, truly classified!

And our side dishes,
Garlic Cheese Onion Rings
Kudos to the Domino's team because the rings were still in crispy condition. However, taste wise, it was rather a let down. Only tasted better when I dip them in the chili sauce.

Chicken Wings
Pretty decent seasoned chicken wings. Best part of it was the thick coating of BBQ sauce.

The above meal cost us RM 60. Pretty decent price that can feed up to 6 person. However, if I were given a choice I'd still stick to Pizza Hut for my pizza deliveries. They satisfied my taste bud better and costs slightly cheaper.

Aloha Chicken: 5.5/10
Seafood Delight: 4/10
Classified Chicken: 7/10

Verdict: Classified Chicken is the way to go!

Big Fish Moment with Pizza Hut

It was exactly half past eight in the evening when me and Michael was lingering in the Sunway Pyramid shopping mall. We were yet to have our dinner, and I asked Michael a simple question, "Are you hungry?". And his reply was "Yes, I'm very hungry".

As we walked out from the elevator near the skating rink, I could already smell the fragrance of the pizza coming from Pizza Hut. Seriously, it is hard to resist the aroma of the pizza, what's more when you are having a hungry stomach. I knew at this time I wanted Pizza Hut as my dinner so badly but obviously I need to respect Michael decision as well. So I asked Michael whether is he alright with the idea, and much to my delight, he agreed with it.
Pizza Hut Restaurant

I was aware of the newly launched Fish King Pizza by Pizza Hut earlier this month. It is no surprise that we were being presented to the leaflet of the Fish King Pizza upon getting the menu. I'd already had in mind that I wanted to try their Fish King Pizza even before being presented to the leaflet. And the inviting Fish King Pizza leaflet, just confirmed our choice of pizza for the day!
Big on Fish, Bigger on Value

Since, there were only two of us, we opted for the Fish King Set 1 which comes with one regluar Fish King Pizza, two soup-of-the-day, four pieces of garlic breadstix and two glasses of Pepsi drink.
Fish King Set 1

We were told that the Fish King Pizza needed a preparation of 17 minutes before it is ready. The soup-of-the-day were served almost instantly after our order. A good appetizer to aid our hungry stomach while waiting for the Fish King Pizza.
Soup-of-the- day, Mushroom Chicken soup

The garlic breadstix is great especially when being dipped into the soup, just like I'd always love to do when dining at Pizza Hut.
Garlic Breadstix

Pepsi drink

Approximately after 17 minutes, I could see the waiter topping off the Fish King Pizza with a slice of lemon at the pizza counter. I was hoping that the Fish King Pizza is ours and Yes!, it was indeed being served to our table. Time for some feast now!
Fish King Pizza

My eye was being caught by the fairly huge fish fingers. A closer look at it showed that it was actually bigger than the size of my index fingers. It is no exaggeration that the size of a fish finger equals to two of my index fingers being stacked together.
Fish Finger
For those that are not aware, these fish fingers were actually made from the specially-imported Alaskan Pollock fish which has milder taste, whiter colour and lower oil content compared to the typical Pollock fish.

Counting fingers, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. We have SIX Alaskan Pollock fish fingers on our regular size of Fish King Pizza. The fish fingers were so tempting that I wanted to have them all by myself. But since young, mum has always taught me that sharing is caring. So, 3 sticks each for the both of us.
The fish fingers that are "begging" you to eat them!

After much attention on the fish fingers, it is time to look at the other ingredients used as the topping of Fish King Pizza. A closer look showed the topping consisted of crabsticks, capsicums, yellow onions, pineapples and the Mozzarella Cheese.
Cheesy weezy Fish King Pizza
This is what you get from a Fish King Pizza that came fresh from the oven. Can you see the dripping of the melting cheese?

Ask yourself, "How often do you consume fish?". What's more, when we are talking about Alaskan Pollock Fish. And I'm going to have my very first bite on the Fish King Pizza!
Fish King Pizza feast

My first bite resulted in a very cheesy experience. Very much to my liking the pizza is topped off with so much Mozarella cheese. As I had a larger bite, I could actually taste the tanginess of the sauce which I believed is their cool lime mayo sauce, tasted like the tartar sauce. The topping very much resemble the taste of the Island Supreme. But as you continue feasting in the Fish King Pizza, you will come across the juicy pineapple and this is when it gave you a thought that you were maybe having a Hawaiian Supreme.

A fan of Pizza Hut as always, my all time favourite are the Hawaiian Supreme and the Island Supreme. Thus, it is not a tough task for me identifying and having the memorable taste of these two flavours. Never in my wildest dream that I'd be able to taste my all time two favourite flavours in a pizza, the Fish King Pizza! Man, this is just awesomely delicious!
Cheesy experience with the Fish King Pizza

Maybe you might not be craving for pizza during you next visit. But do make sure that you "steal" a stick of the Alaskan Pollock fish fingers off the Fish King Pizza. After all, this is what Fish King Pizza is all about.
Do not missed out the Alaskan Pollock fish fingers!

The Alaskan Pollock fish fingers consisted of actual real Alaskan Pollock fish meat. We are not talking about the typical processed fish fingers. Now this is what we called feasting in a delicious protein meal!
The real Alaskan Pollock fish meat

The breaded fish fingers offered a mild crisp on the outside. The Alaskan Pollock fish meat within meanwhile were so tender and soft. The silky smooth and the juiciness of the fish meat very much resembles the feeling of having freshly steamed fish meat. Best of all, it is boneless!
Tender on the inside, and crispy on the outside

Our bill came to RM 32.20 which inclusive of service and government charges. I supposed it is very reasonable acknowledging the fact that the set fills up our big hungry stomach satisfyingly! Not forgetting to mention that, it was a meal that full with protein thanks to the awesomely delicious Alaskan Pollock fish fingers. I'd definitely be back real soon for a larger share of the Fish King Pizza!

Freshness is guaranteed. Any fresher you got to travel to Alaska and catch the Pollock fish yourself!

So hurry to your nearest favourite Pizza Hut outlet to get your share before the catch runs out!

Atmosphere: 6.5/10
Food: 8/10
Price: 6.5/10
Verdict: Can't wait for my next Fish King Pizza experience!

Papa John's Pizza @ Sunway Pyramid

Had been hearing a lot about Papa John's since their existence last year. It was one of the franchise chain owned by the Berjaya Corporation, spearheaded by Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

It was just a week away before the Chinese New Year as mum did not cook for dinner because she was busy with the preparation. Perfect timing for some Papa John's pizza indulgence!
Curios whether was it better?

I knew there was an ongoing promotion if you are a Citibank credit card holder. Obviously, we opted for the promotion to maximize the value of money.
Ongoing promotion till 31st March 2010

It has been a long time since I last dine in a pizza restaurant as I always opted for delivery. I would reckon the ambiance was fantastic with a peaceful atmosphere at a very cosy temperature. Perhaps, it was because during the weekdays.
Great ambiance!

They do offered the customers an opportunity to have a glimpse of their pizza preparation.
The station where the dough were made

Hand made dough

They were many pizzas being offered in the menu. However, only a few selected pizzas from their menu were available for our choice since we opted for the promotion.

Mexican Ole
A magical Mexican treat that combines delicious grilled chicken, corn kernels, onions, fresh tomatoes and the spicy Jalapeno peppers. I particularly did not like it because it was very salty and too tangy for my preference. It kills off the sweetness the dough. As for the dough, it was crispy on the outside and very tender inside and was full with the aroma of a perfect dough. Just awesome!

The pizza does came with a condiment of garlic sauce for some dipping if you prefer some extra hint of garlic on your slice.
Garlic Butter Sauce

And our second pizza was another toppings with chicken since we can't consume beef.
Zesty Chicken
Topped with tenderly grilled chicken, fresh tomatoes, sweet pineapples, green pepper and crushed red pepper slices.

Zesty Chicken
This topping were awesome! The chicken and the pineapple were juicy while the green pepper and the tomatoes were crunchy. All this fresh ingredients make up a great toppings. Together with the awesome dough, it made out an unforgettable pizza!

The total bill came to RM 24.10 for two 9" original pizzas. The price is obviously after the 50% discount. Otherwise, the total bill will costs us a whopping RM 48.20!

The normal price for a 9" original pizza costed RM 21.90 each. But if you are a Citibank card holder, you will be entitled to 50% off from selected 9" original pizzas and are limited to 2 pizzas per card member. 50% discount is a lot! Hurry up to grab your slice before the promotion ends on 31st March 2010.

It definitely lived up to it's tag line of "Better Ingredient, Better Pizzas"!

Mexican Ole: 5/10
Zesty Chicken: 7/10

Atmosphere: 7/10

Price: 7.5/10 (with promotion) ; 5/10 (normal price)
Verdict: The pizza dough by far is the best I have eaten!

Asia Cafe Dining with Sister @ SS15/8A, Subang Jaya

When someone mentioned about Asia Cafe, the thought of food will crossed the mind. This is because Asia Cafe has plenty choices of food to offer, ranging from rice, noodles, chops to sushi. There were a mass participation of hawker stalls and tt could easily reached more than 100 varieties of food with each stall offering at least 5 different variety.

Before you start venturing for food, the usually efficient waiter will be there to take your order for the beverages first.
Jumbo Size Honey Dew Juice (RM 5.50)
They have plenty of drinks to offer but I always stick to their fresh juices even though it was a little bit diluted. Reason was simple, because I dislike reordering drinks and usually a jumbo size juice will do me the night.

They were only 4 of us for the night. So we can't really order that much. Isky was struck by some pizza craving and there was this stall to satisfy him.
Pizza Brava

Hawaiian Chicken Ham Pizza (RM 13 for medium size)
The dough tasted very fresh. But the best part was the fragrance of the wood that lingers in your mouth upon each bite on the pizza, making it very country-tasting.

Becky arrived shortly and she ordered a bowl of duck drumstick as her dinner.

Duck Drumstick Mee Suah(RM 5.50)
Becky didn't like it. She poured some soya sauce into the soup to make it better. However, I find the soup tasted worse as it was saltier after the pouring of soya sauce.

I was still craving for some crab after the disastrous crab tasting in Pulau Ketam.
This is the shop that I always ordered the crab from because of their decent pricing and taste.

Kam Heong Crab (RM 15 for 1 1/2 crab)
Not the best Kam Heong I have eaten but at least it tasted decent. It was slightly oily though but the presence of Kam Heong taste can be tasted. At it's price, there were nothing much I could complain further. Finally, got back my memories on how a crab should taste like after the crappy crab preparation at Pulau Ketam, and this is what I called Kam Heong.

Isky went for second helping as the pizza was not enough for him, thanks to us that stole some pieces off him.
The western stall that has a lot of variety to offer and it is not just an ordinary western stall. I have tried their food here before and honestly it was not the best. But for the price and at the above average taste that you get, you really will have this stall in mind when you were craving for some chops.

Lamb Shoulder Chop (RM 14.90)
Isky's second helping. He finished them up without wasting and I suppose it's an indirect way of telling us it was good.

Becky wanted to try something else since her previous order was not satisfying.

So there she went to order a plate of Char Koay Teow which she told me that many claimed it was good.
Fried Koay Teow (RM 5)
It was not flavourful enough but somehow it did enough for me to continue eating it. We have no problem finishing it, but the main problem was the price tag of it! We were stoned when the waiter was asking RM 5 from us for this tiny little place of Fried Koay Teow.

That's all we had for the night. Definitely there will be a chance for me in the near future to be back here to indulge in other delicacies.

Hawaiian Chicken Ham Pizza: 7/10
Duck Drumstick Mee Suah: 4/10
Kam Heong Crab: 6/10
Lamb Shoulder Chop: 6.5/10
Fried Koay Teow: 5/10

Atmosphere: 7/10

Price: 6/10
Verdict: A place to be if you are looking for a food feast on the table with different type of decent food.

It's Pizza Hut Time [19th Dec 2009]

I'm home alone. Parents went up north for relatives visiting. Suppose to go for NTV 7 All Stars concert but was called off due to the lack of people. It was drizzling then, no food at home. Getting hungry about 3pm, straight pop my mind, time for some pizzas!

I used to fancy Domino's but too much consumption of it making me feel bored with the taste. What else, Pizza Hut is the answer. I do not call them. Instead I ordered through online which I have been practicing since 2007.

Online ordering allowed you to flip through the menu electronically. You can view the pictures of your desired pizzas. Besides, you do not need to wait for the busy operator system to answer your call. Best of all, they offered unbeatable promotions which are only available through Pizza Hut Online.

2 regular pizzas that cost only RM 24.05 after tax and delivery charges
Doesn't it fit into the category of cheap, nice and delicious? Feasible for 2-4 persons.

The confirmed slip
Pizza will be delivered within 30minutes but that day was delivered after 25minutes upon the submission of the order.

After 26 minutes..

Royal Masala Thin Crust @ Pizza Hut
Just like eating biscuits with chicken masala fillings with some spicy taste.

Hawaian Supreme @ Pizza Hut
Regular hawaiian pizza size. Can feed for 1-2 persons.

Just look at the cheese. It's sinful for the body watcher but it is even more sinful for the taste bud not to indulge in it.

Extra cheese, extra meat and pineapples.
What's more can I ask for. Love every bite of it. Just exquisite!

Pizza Hut promised to deliver within 30mins to your doorstep, and it have never failed me since I practiced online ordering. So what to wait for people? Time to switch from phone ordering to online ordering.

So the next time you are craving for pizzas, be sure to try ordering online. You will be amazed with their efficiency of service and the sizzling hot pizzas!
