It would be of a little waste if we just headed back to Georgetown after traveling all the way to the secluded side of Teluk Bahang. As such, I suggested a short sightseeing in the nature surroundings of Teluk Bahang. The first place that we dropped by was the Penang Forest Museum.
Penang Forest Museum
I have no idea on why they named it as Penang Forest Museum. It looked more like a recreational park for me with a river flowing by the side of the walkway. It is no surprise to see some families enjoying some picnics here.
Mum trying to be lovely here
Next, we stopped by at Teluk Bahang Dam which is a short drive from the Penang Forest Museum. Just take the road heading to Balik Pulau and you will see the dam on your right hand side.I would like to explore further deeper but Mum said it's better not to since the sky was getting dark. I'd have no choice but to listen to the elderly. Perhaps, it's good to keep it for the next time.
My parents by the dam side
My parents decided to wait for us by the roadside as Pei Yee and I walked further in to the bridge to check out another side of the dam.
Thank you Pei Yee for your company in Penang=)
The dam was pretty normal with nothing much to offer with the exception of the chilly breeze and the serenity view. We then headed back to Georgetown for our dinner at New Lane.
You're very welcome! It was fun going around the places and all. :)
