And finally my wait is over. After the dinner with Eddie, we decided to sweeten our tooth in this famous Tim Pan Gor Gor desserts located in Metro Prima, Kepong.
Welcoming ambiance
There were variety of cold and hot desserts to choose from. From hot bean soup to the numerous flavour of tau foo fa, you just gotta pick the your flavour for the day.
Almond + Walnut Sweet Soup (RM 6)
This dessert was supposedly good for the health. But, seriously it tasted very much like a medicine, the antibiotic. It's either you like it or dislike it.
As for the beanie soup, one of our friend ordered the hot Red Bean soup.

As for the beanie soup, one of our friend ordered the hot Red Bean soup.
Red Bean Soup + Sweet Rice Balls (RM 5.50)
The soup was thick and full with beans. I supposed the soup was boiled for long hours that resulted to the diluted red beans in the soup. It came with two glutinous rice balls with the fillings of sesame seed within.

As for Eddie and I, we were a little prudent with our choice. We ordered the Tau Foo Fa with different toppings respectively.
Bean Curd with Green Tea (RM 5)
Just some topping of green tea flavoured jelly and they charged it at RM 5. It just did not justify the price tag of it. Moreover, the jelly did not taste very much like green tea.

Also known as the black and white. It comes in the combination of tau foo fa with black sesame soup. Whilst the black sesame soup were decent, the tau foo fa was below average with a rough texture.
Obviously, we did not missed out trying one of their signature dish, the Mango Chee Cheong Fun.
Mango Cheong Fun (RM 8)
Silky smooth cheong fun that were stuffed with mango flesh within before being drizzled with the rich in taste of mango gravy.

The mango flesh within the cheong fun
It was aromatic, the mango flesh were sweet and juicy while the taste of the gravy were perfect, neither too sweet nor too bland. Think of eating chee cheong fun but with a mango gravy and mango fillings. I pretty liked it, since I'm a fan of mango.

With many of friends raving about it, I expected better desserts from Tim Pan Gor Gor. Apart from the Mango Cheong Fun, I was rather disappointed with the quality of the desserts.
