Forum 19 Food Court @ Section 19, PJ

It was the night of World Cup quarter final action of Brazil vs Netherlands. A big match indeed, that should be enjoyed over on a big screen, the bigger the better.

I was being told by Hock Beng that Forum 19 Food Court (formerly known as 888 Food Court) were showing live football matches on a extremely huge "screen". You won't say no to big screen, what's more when it involved big team matches. So Forum 19 Food Court was the place where we gathered for the match.

The match was being projected to the building nearby that act as the "screen". Kudos to the Forum 19 for having such creativity. Bigger screen with no cost incurred for hanging any wall or other related projector stuff. I wondered do they pay any form of royalty to the operator of that building.
Building that act as the giant screen

Hock Beng and I were the first few to reach the place. Unsurprisingly, the place were already filled with the crowds. We spotted some empty tables but, man, they were RESERVED. Huh, reserved tables in a food court?!
Reserved table, won't you believe it.

We were lucky to be able to squeeze a spot by carrying the table and chairs ourselves. For other people that were not so fortunate, they chose to enjoy the match in the interior.

Saying so it's a food court, we did ordered some food to satisfy our cravings.
Fried Koay Teow (RM 4)
I must say I'm surprised with the taste of it. It was flavourful with the aromatic hint of wok hei. The Chinese sausage added some extra fragrance to the char koay teow.

Satay (RM 0.70 per stick)
Decent satay but the gravy was a little too diluted.

Crispy Chicken Rice (RM 5.50)
Michael's plate of dinner and his verdict was OK. However, the waiting time for it was superbly long.

Drinks and food price was reasonable. And now, I have found a new place to enjoy live football matches.

Fried Koay Teow: 6.5/10
Satay: 5/10
Crispy Chicken Rice: 5/10 by Michael

Atmosphere: 5/10

Price: 6/10
Verdict: The giant screen is the catch! Do order a plate of Char Koay Teow while enjoying your live matches.
