Papa John's Pizza @ Sunway Pyramid

Had been hearing a lot about Papa John's since their existence last year. It was one of the franchise chain owned by the Berjaya Corporation, spearheaded by Tan Sri Vincent Tan.

It was just a week away before the Chinese New Year as mum did not cook for dinner because she was busy with the preparation. Perfect timing for some Papa John's pizza indulgence!
Curios whether was it better?

I knew there was an ongoing promotion if you are a Citibank credit card holder. Obviously, we opted for the promotion to maximize the value of money.
Ongoing promotion till 31st March 2010

It has been a long time since I last dine in a pizza restaurant as I always opted for delivery. I would reckon the ambiance was fantastic with a peaceful atmosphere at a very cosy temperature. Perhaps, it was because during the weekdays.
Great ambiance!

They do offered the customers an opportunity to have a glimpse of their pizza preparation.

They were many pizzas being offered in the menu. However, only a few selected pizzas from their menu were available for our choice since we opted for the promotion.

Mexican Ole
A magical Mexican treat that combines delicious grilled chicken, corn kernels, onions, fresh tomatoes and the spicy Jalapeno peppers. I particularly did not like it because it was very salty and too tangy for my preference. It kills off the sweetness the dough. As for the dough, it was crispy on the outside and very tender inside and was full with the aroma of a perfect dough. Just awesome!

The pizza does came with a condiment of garlic sauce for some dipping if you prefer some extra hint of garlic on your slice.

And our second pizza was another toppings with chicken since we can't consume beef.
Zesty Chicken
Topped with tenderly grilled chicken, fresh tomatoes, sweet pineapples, green pepper and crushed red pepper slices.

Zesty Chicken
This topping were awesome! The chicken and the pineapple were juicy while the green pepper and the tomatoes were crunchy. All this fresh ingredients make up a great toppings. Together with the awesome dough, it made out an unforgettable pizza!

The total bill came to RM 24.10 for two 9" original pizzas. The price is obviously after the 50% discount. Otherwise, the total bill will costs us a whopping RM 48.20!

The normal price for a 9" original pizza costed RM 21.90 each. But if you are a Citibank card holder, you will be entitled to 50% off from selected 9" original pizzas and are limited to 2 pizzas per card member. 50% discount is a lot! Hurry up to grab your slice before the promotion ends on 31st March 2010.

It definitely lived up to it's tag line of "Better Ingredient, Better Pizzas"!

Mexican Ole: 5/10
Zesty Chicken: 7/10

Atmosphere: 7/10

Price: 7.5/10 (with promotion) ; 5/10 (normal price)
Verdict: The pizza dough by far is the best I have eaten!
