Roast Duck Loong Foong @ Taman Paramount

When we mention about Taman Paramount, maybe many people would thought of the LRT Station that located there. But for those food lovers, I'm pretty sure that they knew that Taman Paramount is indeed one of a place that offers better food in the Petaling Jaya area.

After the relaxing trip to Ulu Yam, we were back to Petaling Jaya area near to 7pm. Hock Beng suggested to have roasted duck as dinner at Taman Paramount. I agreed without thinking any further since I fancies roasted duck and my stomach was kinda hungry already.

I had been hearing a lot about this roasted duck stall since years ago. But for some reason, I have yet to taste them, not until that day. It operates on a stall basis being stationed at this corner lot restaurant called Loong Foong Seafood Restaurant.

Barely before 7pm, you can see the whole restaurant almost full house with nearly all the table will at least have a plate of roasted duck on it.

Ambra Juice

Since they were only two of us, we ordered half a bird which costed us RM 23. A whole bird of roasted duck were slightly cheaper, being priced at RM 45. After almost half an hour of wait, our roasted duck finally came to the table. The wait was presumably long because our dinner fell under the peak hour of dinner time.

Chili and the Duck Sauce
The chili sauce was alright but the duck sauce was lacking a little scent of herbs.

Roasted Duck
The duck was roasted perfectly resulting to a tender and juicy meat. The sweetness juice of duck were bursting out upon each bite on the meat. However, the skin were not as crispy as the one being prepared by their closest competitor, Sunrise. The scent of the herb can be tasted but not as strong as the one offered by the Hoppy Restaurant franchise and it does good for those who dislikes the strong hint of herbs.

Atmosphere: 5/10

Price: 6/10
Verdict: It definitely lives up to it's billing as one of the top roast duck in the town!
